Pacific Timber Export Corporation (PATECO), established in 1960 holds an Integrated Forest Management Agreement with the Philippine government. This allows Pateco to engage in logging activities until December 31,2032, covering 33,454 hectares of prime tropical forest situated in the provinces of Aurora and Isabela, all in accordance with rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Being an IFMA Holder No. 03-2006, PATECO has managed and protected its area as evidenced by the absence of any open and denuded portion in its licensed area. In addition, Pateco is also a holder of IFMA R4-001 – covering an Industrial Tree Plantations (ITP) with an area of 966 hectares under the IFMA Scheme. Pateco is a fully integrated forest-based enterprise engaged in diversified business activities such as logging, industrial tree plantations, sawmill, plywood operation, log & lumber dealership and manufacture of wooden products.

Since 1990, PATECO has been exporting wooden doors and window components, staircases and other wood profiles to France and other member countries of the European Economic Community.

Also developed currently at its facilities is the production of molded and closet doors from imported High Density Fiberboard door skins. The wood frames inside each door is composed of wood stiles, rails and other elements made from good and strong finger-jointed kiln dried lumber.

Aside from these, PATECO has ten (10) showrooms/outlets located to cater the needs of the local construction industry.

At present, PATECO is not limited to exporting its products solely to member of European Union and Australia. Recently the company has already entered the market of the Middle East countries like Dubai. PATECO joined the BIG 5@DUBAI exhibit which was held last November 2007 in Dubai.
